Summer Fun!

Once again, it's that time of year . . . SUMMER! I just realized I haven't posted anything for a while. Spending too much time having fun sailing and kayaking and all the other summer activities!

Here is an image I thought was pretty at the marina we stayed out last week. Rock Hall is a nice little town to visit. The marina was beautiful and we look forward to going back this season.

Smiling Newborn at Vivienne Photography!

Here is the completed collage I did of the precious smiling newborn Emory. She was 7 days old here and as I was getting her posed for an image, she started smiling and I stopped what I was doing because this was a moment in time that I didn't want to miss! I will be seeing her next week for her next session (4 months) to continue in her Storybook Album. This moment of her new beginning only lasted a short time but will be enjoyed for many years to come in her Storybook Album . . . a gift from the present to take into the future. . . an heirloom to be enjoyed for many years to come.

What a fun session I had with a high school senior, Lauren. She was beautiful and looked like a beauty queen. I felt like I was photographing a Miss America contestant! Here is one that her mom loved. Best Wishes to you Lauren as you go into the next part of your journey! Enjoy every minute of it.

LOVE THE HAT!

We just finished up her last session in her Storybook Album. It has been such a delight photographing her since her first newborn session. She is such an adorable and sweet little girl . . . it has always been such a pleasure capturing images that reflect her sweetness and innocence.

The hat was a gift to her from a relative and I am so glad the mom brought it in. She looks ready for a shopping adventure in her hat and coat. . . very stylist little girl. I look forward already to her 2-year old session!

Precious 7-day old Newborn at Vivienne Photography

I had to share this recent image of a 7-day old little girl. I was in the process of positioning her the way I wanted and before I could get her hands the way I wanted them, I noticed she started to smile. I stopped what I was trying to do and got behind my camera and got a few images of her smiling. She is my first newborn that I got a smile out of! I wish I had her positioned the way I wanted . . . but I'll take this expression any day! : )

Celebrating Taylor at Vivienne Photography

From the 100 Day Portrait Session to the most recent, it has been such a pleasure capturing images of this beautiful child. As our Celebrated child, Taylor will receive a complimentary session that will be good through October 2011 and a keepsake photo tin. I look forward to the 10th year of photographing her this year!

I know this little one has been waiting patiently to see his images on The Blog . . . so I decided to create a special collage for him with the baking series we did. He enjoyed this session and it was really fun for him. We did a chef theme for his older sister several years ago. Their dad is a chef and this theme works perfectly for this family. This series will be displayed in their kitchen, along with his sister's.

Thanks Grace for all the years of allowing me to photograph your children . . . it's been a pleasure and an honor to do so. I've enjoy watching them grow and the times we get to share. I look forward to seeing them in the coming year. Thanks for being my #1 fan!

Classic Portraiture by Vivienne

I've been waiting a while to share this beautiful image of this precious little girl. Her grandmother brought her into the studio for a surprise session for the mom and it was to be a gift this holiday season. I just found out earlier today from the grandmother that her daughter was totally surprised and that she cried when she this beautiful wall portrait . . . well, that sure made my day!

Annapolis Sunset

Just wanted to share this awesome sunset from the other night in Annapolis. It was such a spectacular sky after the sun went down. This time of year has some of the best sunsets around here.

I've been MIA for awhile . . . but now that summer is winding down, I will try to be better at updating and sharing on The Blog. . .

Here is one of my favorites from this session . . . I just love their expressions. I photographed Buddy & Sammy along with the rest of the family yesterday and they were so funny. They wanted to be in the photos that didn't require them and then when we wanted them in one, they didn't want to share the spotlight, so to speak. It was so funny since I have been photographing them over the past year or so. . . they have gotten use to being the center of attention and have given me their undivided attention! Just look at those precious faces . . . they love being photographed.

Ana Grace Turns 9 months!

Ana Grace recently turned 9 months old . . . another chapter completed in her Storybook Album. I love photographing little girls . . . we can use hats, bows, ribbons, flowers and lace . . . anything girly. She is such the Gerber baby and I look forward to our next session when she turns one.

Recently, I was contacted by BuyActivatedCharcoal a few weeks ago. They came across my blog and loved the images they saw and wanted to use one for their baby page. This was the one they selected. . . Baby Anna Grace (3 mos. old). I contacted the mom to get permission for them to use it and she was so delighted that her precious little one was selected. Mother's Day Surprise!

I love when a father brings in their child or children for a portrait to surprise their wife. That was the case with this little one. Dad wanted to surprise his wife for Mother's Day and brought in his 2 year old son for a portrait session. This image was the wall portrait he selected for his wife . . . it was the image that captured his heart of his little one. I think it is one of the sweetest things for a father to do!

Tommy at 3!

Here is a recent classic of a sweet little boy. I've been photographing him since he was a newborn. I couldn't believe how much he has changed in the last year. . . a full head of hair and the cutest voice. . . it was fun interacting with him behind the camera. Children are just so precious and they certainly keep me entertained!

Brown-Eyed Beauty

I've enjoyed photographing this little brown-eyed beauty over the years and especially recently during her First Holy Communion portrait session. She has turned into the most adorable and fun loving young lady. Her mom was telling me that she wants to go into fashion design. Look out Project Runway!

Boochie - The Winner of the Top Dog Model Contest!

A few months ago, we held the first Tog Dog Model Search at Vivienne Photography. The winner of the contest was the most adorable Cavishon, (a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Bichon Frise). He has the most expressive eyes and was a delight to photograph. He won my heart and I surely would have kept him if his family didn't love him so much!

Sweet Newborn Baby Boy!

Finally getting to share this precious newborn baby boy. It has been a really hectic spring and I haven't posted anything for a while.

This little one was only 11 days old when this image was taken. He was tiny enough to fit in my newborn cocoon. We will be photographing him at 3 months for his Storybook Album. I can't wait to see how much he has grown.

Quiet Waters Park Earth Day Celebration and the Second Annual Family, Music and Kite Festival, Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate the annual Earth Day Celebration at Quiet Waters Park and enjoy a family day of fun outdoors exploring nature.
