How to earn a Complimentary Child's Portrait Session . . .

I am looking to expand my existing selection of children’s clothing for portrait sessions by offering an opportunity for you to purchase one of the selected items I have chosen. In addition to the complimentary studio portrait session, you will receive actual portrait credits for the full price paid in exchange for the item you purchased, to be applied to your portrait order.

Here’s how it works:

1. Select item you would like to see your child photographed in. I will be posting different items on The Blog . . . , as I find them. For my photographic style, classic and timeless looks work best but I may find something different than what I normally do. Keep checking back to see what is being posted.

2. Email us at viviennephotography@gmail.com to let us know what item and size you are providing.

3. We will make a session date and time once you receive your purchase.

4. Your studio session will be complimentary for this promotion. ($125 value)

5. In exchange for the item you purchased, you will receive full portrait credit for the amount paid for the item, plus any tax & shipping & handling costs. Please leave tags on and must not be worn prior to session. You must also supply the invoice of your purchase for our record keeping.

Tutu Cute!

Just wanted to share one of Caylee's session. She was 7 months old here and she was such a little sweetheart! Her mom is my framer and has loved the images I have taken in to be framed over the years. I can't wait to see how she framed her portraits and collages.

Sleeping Baby Boy at Vivienne Photography

What a surprise when this 4-month old baby boy fell asleep during his recent portrait session. I wasn’t expecting it but am so glad he dozed off for a few minutes, allowing me to capture this precious moment.

There is just something so beautiful and peaceful about a sleeping baby. This image reminds me of the classic images of Bessie Pease Gutmann that she created many years ago.

Future Naval Academy Midshipman!

Here is a cute image from his 3-year old session. I have been photographing him since he was an infant. It's been a pleasure creating a portrait history of him and his three siblings over the years.

It all started out when I photographed his parent's engagement session at the Naval Academy and also their wedding; which also took place at the Academy. (His dad is a USNA graduate) Four children later, I am still photographing the family, creating a portrait history for each of the children . . . a visual treasure that the family will cherish throughout the years!

Another Beautiful Sunset!

This was last night's sunset behind Dobbins Island.  We motored over to Dobbins to grill and to chill and what a perfect night for both!

To end the perfect day yesterday, we took a early evening sail out to the Chesapeake Bay and then down the Magothy River.  We enjoy sailing down the Magothy as the sun sets.  As we sailed past the Wednesday evening sailboat race,  I was able to capture this image. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Blue Angels Honor the Naval Academy Graduates

Today was the perfect day for the Blue Angels performance in Annapolis. Clear skies and perfect temperatures. . . it was simply a gorgeous day!  

I didn't expect to capture any award winning photos with my little point & shoot camera but here is one that I liked.  I am always in such awe by the performance of the Navy's finest pilots . . . their precision, their perfection and the unity that they showcase . . . thank you Blue Angels for a fabulous show and a job well done!

Sleeping Newborn Babies at Vivienne Photography!

I was really happy to get this image of a sleeping newborn. I had the idea in mind and got a baby that stayed asleep and was able to capture this precious image. 

Longwood Gardens

I went to Longwood Gardens yesterday with my sister. It turned out to be a beautiful day once the rain cleared out in the morning.  It was a last minute decision to go and I'm glad we did because the weather forecast for the next week is calling for more rain. It was the perfect day to spend at such a beautiful place.

Precious Newborn Baby Boy!

This little guy is 11 days old here. It took awhile for him to stay asleep but once he did, he was out like a light and we were able to get wonderful newborn images of him. 

A reminder to new moms . . . to plan for your newborn baby session, please schedule a few days out from your due date . . . we need the baby as soon as possible to get the squishy, bendable images that parents are going crazy over! 

Sunset at Dobbins Island . . .

Sailing season is finally here!  Yesterday felt more like the middle of summer but once out on the bay, it was as pleasant as it could be!  It was a great sail, with great company, great food and a great sunset. . . it was a perfect day!

Just a reminder . . .  

Each month, a new image will be selected for the Portrait of the Month club. (see side-bar) If an image from one of your previous sessions is selected . . . all you need to do is e-mail the studio at viviennephotography@gmail.com to claim your gift. Be sure to put Portrait of the Month Club in the subject line.  Gifts will vary month-to-month. Once the portrait has been claimed, a new portrait will be displayed.  Check back often . . . you never know when your image will be selected for the next Portrait of the Month!
