Boys will be boys . . .

This session was a referral from another client who also has two boys. It seems to always be a challenge when putting two or more siblings together but more of a challenge when they are boys! I must admit, I did work really hard for this session. I am so pleased with the results we got and the parents were also very happy with their selection of images. This image was the wall portrait that they selected.

Newborn Baby Boy

Meet baby Nicholas . . . winner of a recent contest that was held by Vivienne Photography. The parents received a complimentary studio session and an 11 x 14 of the selected image.

Just 9 days old . . . this little guy didn't want to miss one moment. He would not fall asleep. . . no matter what we did to soothe him. I don't know how we managed to get this image, but we did! Thank you to Joe & Dawn for participating in our contest. I hope you enjoy this image of your precious little boy for many years to come!

Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse

We sailed past the Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse last week on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Just as we were passing it, I noticed a man came out from inside.

Apparently, the lighthouse is being restored . . . here's some info on the lighthouse:

Choices for portrait clothing . . .

I am enclosing a few links to items I think will look lovely for a winter theme session:

1. This is available in size 2T & 4T.

2. This ensemble is available in 3T & 4T
and in sizes 6 & 6x (It says other sizes available but these two are the only ones showing up)

3. One last one for now. This would be a sweet dress for this time of year. Ranging from sizes 6 months to 10Y.

Added 8/28/09 - Sizes 12 month, 2Y & 5Y have been purchased. Thank you! This is really an adorable dress and is perfect for a portrait. Still interested in the 6 months, 18 months, & 3 year sizes.

4. Here is another dress from Strasburg Children. I do have a smaller size (6/9 mos.) and the unlined size 4 already for the studio. This is the lined version of the same dress I have. All sizes listed (except for size 4) are still available for this promotion.

Please let me know in advance of your purchase, just in case it already has been selected. Thank you.

How to earn a Complimentary Child's Portrait Session . . .

I am looking to expand my existing selection of children’s clothing for portrait sessions by offering an opportunity for you to purchase one of the selected items I have chosen. In addition to the complimentary studio portrait session, you will receive actual portrait credits for the full price paid in exchange for the item you purchased, to be applied to your portrait order.

Here’s how it works:

1. Select item you would like to see your child photographed in. I will be posting different items on The Blog . . . , as I find them. For my photographic style, classic and timeless looks work best but I may find something different than what I normally do. Keep checking back to see what is being posted.

2. Email us at viviennephotography@gmail.com to let us know what item and size you are providing.

3. We will make a session date and time once you receive your purchase.

4. Your studio session will be complimentary for this promotion. ($125 value)

5. In exchange for the item you purchased, you will receive full portrait credit for the amount paid for the item, plus any tax & shipping & handling costs. Please leave tags on and must not be worn prior to session. You must also supply the invoice of your purchase for our record keeping.

6. Your portrait order needs to be placed no later than 2 weeks after portrait session.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Tutu Cute!

Just wanted to share one of Caylee's session. She was 7 months old here and she was such a little sweetheart! Her mom is my framer and has loved the images I have taken in to be framed over the years. I can't wait to see how she framed her portraits and collages.
